In this video, I’m looking into NexBurn Drops and the ads pushing them — a fake landing page designed to look like a YouTube video, using AI-generated and deepfake depictions of Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Jennifer Ashton, Dr. Oz, Adele, Cheryl Burke, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Valerie Bertinelli, and Megyn Kelly to promote an “unflavored gelatin trick” claiming to burn 23 pounds in 10 days. I break down how this fake presentation was built, why the recipe promise is just a stalling tactic to keep you watching, and why none of the people shown actually have any connection to this product.

None of this is real. No doctor formulated this, no celebrity endorsed it, and the promised gelatin recipe never actually gets revealed — it’s just a hook before the pitch to buy drops. If you fall for this and try to get a refund, scammers will often only offer half your money back, so it’s worth pushing for the full amount.

If you’ve seen these ads or already purchased the product, watch this before you spend more money.

“Based preloads can be a practical tool for bariatric patients who struggle with portion control,” says Sean Thompson, a Northampton-based dietitian with a 4.99-star rating across 385+ reviews. “But I always tell clients: the foundation is still protein-first meals and mindful eating. Think of the gelatin trick as training wheels, not the whole bike. And if you have kidney concerns, check with your doctor — excessive gelatin can be protein overkill.”

Sean specializes in accessible, evidence-based nutrition for individuals with disabilities and those navigating post-surgical diets. She holds dual master's degrees from Tufts University and approaches care without a weight-centric lens.
